By downloading or using SPEC, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
SPEC is a mobile app that helps interior designers estimate materials (such as drapery, shade, wallpaper, and upholstery yardage) and reference on-site checklists and design guidelines.
This is the important one: SPEC's calculators produce estimates based on the measurements and specifications you enter. They are a professional aid, not a substitute for your own judgment or for verifying measurements on-site. You are responsible for confirming quantities before placing orders with a workroom, vendor, or supplier. SPEC and its creators are not liable for material shortages, overages, or costs resulting from reliance on an in-app estimate.
If SPEC allows you to save or sync project information, you're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping any login credentials secure.
SPEC is currently free to download and use. If we introduce a paid subscription tier in the future, pricing, billing terms, and cancellation details will be presented to you before purchase and added here.
SPEC, its logo, and its in-app content are owned by us. Using the app doesn't give you ownership of any part of it.
SPEC is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SPEC, including material or cost losses from estimate inaccuracies.
We may update these Terms as SPEC evolves. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
